Two quick chocolate treats!

Two very quick, but great ways to finish off a fabulous meal either with friends or just the two of you!

Chocolate ice cream bites

Place small balls of ice cream on a chilled tray and pop back into the freezer until firm. In the meantime, melt some high quality chocolate over a bain-marie and allow to cool slightly. Now dip the ice cream balls into the melted chocolate and freeze to set.

Serve at your leisure!

Chocolate truffles

Gently heat 250 g of high quality chocolate, 60 g of unsalted butter and 160 ml of double cream, until a lovely smooth paste. Cool in the refrigerator, and shape into small balls. Toss in cocoa powder and serve.

A great finish to any meal !
